Join us as we honor one of the greatest pieces of technology formerly used within the animation industry: the multiplane camera. In this two-week class, prepare to reimagine ideas and designs as you learn what it takes to be an animator. Using animation principles and paper cut-outs, various methods and practices will be explored. After multiple animation exercises, students will then use their new skills by applying multiple layers to create a unique final animated short film that has a three-dimensional look.

This class is intended for students interested in learning the process of animation and recommended for students with very little or no prior experience in animation. Student projects will exclusively be created using paper cut-outs.
